3 Stages to Rebuilding Your Health and Designing Your New Lifestyle – Week 3

Chile is well on her way to becoming the Mermaid Beauty displayed in her painting.  Week 3 has gone exceptionally well.  She realized that working out was not going to be as easy as she thought.  Exercising at home was not working.  So what did she do?  She joined a local gym and is going every morning.  She walks to the gym, does a 30 minute interval training workout and walks home.  What an accomplishment!  I am so proud of her for recognizing an issue and counteracting it with a positive action to reach her goal.

Chile’s diet is still going very well.  She is continuing to juice for at least one meal per day and is staying off all sugar and starchy vegetables and certain grains.  She admitted that she doesn’t even miss them.  She is listening to her body now and realized that the starch and sugar were not needed.  She recognized that she was eating them because they taste good, not because they were good for her.  Mind you, Chile did not have a really bad diet. She needed some tweaking but overall her diet was not that bad.

I have not been to her studio but she informs me that it is still organized.  She’s even taken another step, organizing paperwork.  That’s pretty big for Chile.  She knew that it would be an obstacle but she is now making progress.

Chile is committed to creating a lifestyle of health and wellness.  She realizes that the changes she is making are long-lasting and will be with her for the rest of her years.  She enjoys feeling good and realized she hasn’t felt this way in a long time.  She also understands that it’s a process and not a quick fix.  She recognized her change of attitude on her camping trip this past weekend.  She was very proud to tell me that she stayed on her diet, went hiking and took long walks.  She also did very little drinking.  Chile confessed to feeling as free as the birds and the butterfly in the above painting.  She is definitely on the road to success.

Chile is doing really well but not all have as easy a time as Chile.  No worries.  Adversities are dealt with as they come.  The plan is not set in stone.  It changes as you do.  Everyone is  different.  Every circumstance, every issue, every schedule, every body is different and the way it’s all handled is one at a time.  Process is the key.  Don’t try to do it all at one time.  Take the time to understand what needs to be changed and just as importantly, why it needs to be changed.
